Biography

Bill Boyd is a member of the Republican Party and currently serves in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 12. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024.

Born in Medford, Massachusetts, Bill is a 1991 graduate of Boston College with a degree in Political Science. He has been married to his wife, Michele, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, for 18 years, and they have a teenage daughter, Jade, who is a junior at Southern New Hampshire University studying child development.

Before his current role, Boyd served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 21. He succeeded Dick Hinch and assumed office on April 13, 2021. During his tenure, he was known for his dedication and commitment to his constituents.

Boyd’s career experience includes working as a real estate title examiner and co-owning Midnight Run Racing Kennel. He was elected to the Merrimack Town Council, where he served from 2011 to 2021. During that time, he served on the Nashua Regional Planning Commission and was appointed by Gov. Chris Sununu (R) to the New Hampshire Drinking Water and Ground Water Advisory Commission.

In the 2022 elections, Boyd ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Hillsborough 12. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022. His campaign was marked by his commitment to his constituents and his dedication to public service.

In his current role, Boyd is assigned to the Public Works and Highways Committee for the 2023-2024 term. He continues to serve his constituents with the same dedication and commitment that marked his previous roles.
