Biography

Beverly Pingerelli is an American politician and educator currently serving as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from the 28th district. She assumed office on January 9, 2023. Prior to this, she represented the 21st district from January 11, 2021, to January 9, 2023.

Born in Long Beach, California, Pingerelli grew up in a neighborhood just outside of Detroit, Michigan. She was the first person in her immediate family to graduate from college. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Wayne State University.

In her professional life, Pingerelli has worked as a science program coordinator at Grand Canyon University. She also has experience as a cytogenetic and molecular technologist. In addition to her work in education and science, Pingerelli served on the Peoria Unified School District Governing Board until 2022.

Pingerelli’s political career began when she was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2020, succeeding Tony Rivero. As a legislator, she has been assigned to various committees, including the House Education Committee and the House Health and Human Services Committee.

On a personal note, Pingerelli and her husband, Peter, have two daughters. She continues to be an active member of her community and strives to represent the interests of her constituents in the Arizona House of Representatives.
