Education:

Anne Osmundson graduated from Central High School in Elkader, Iowa.

Career:

Before her political career, Anne Osmundson owned a business and worked as a farmer. She also served as a clerk to former Iowa State Representative Kristi Hager.

Political Career:

Anne Osmundson has been an active member of the Republican Party. She served as the secretary of the Clayton County Republican Party. She was also a member of the Clayton County Planning and Zoning Commission and the Clayton County Judicial Magistrate Appointing Commission.

In November 2018, Anne Osmundson was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives to represent District 64. She assumed office on January 14, 2019. She currently serves as the chair of the House Ethics Committee.

In the general election for Iowa House of Representatives District 64 on November 8, 2022, Anne Osmundson defeated Brian Bruening and secured her position with 68.8% votes.
