Angie Taylor is a member of the Democratic Party serving in the Nevada State Senate, representing District 15. She assumed office on November 6, 2024, and her current term is set to end on November 8, 2028.

Born in San Francisco, California, Angie Taylor has dedicated her life to public service, education, and community engagement. She holds three degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno: a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in public administration, and a Ph.D. in educational leadership. Her academic achievements reflect her commitment to lifelong learning and leadership development.

Before her tenure in the Nevada State Senate, Taylor served as a member of the Nevada State Assembly from 2022 to 2024. She also held a position on the Washoe County School District Board of Trustees, where she worked tirelessly to improve educational opportunities for students in her community. Her career experience includes roles as a consultant, president, and CEO of Guardian Quest, as well as positions at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Taylor is deeply involved in her community and has been affiliated with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs, the NAACP, the Northern Nevada Black Cultural Awareness Society, and the Nevada Women’s Fund.
