Angela Turner-Ford, born on July 2, 1971, is an American politician who has been serving in the Mississippi State Senate from the 16th district since 2013. She was born in Columbus, Mississippi and currently resides in West Point, Mississippi. She is a member of the Democratic Party.
Turner-Ford assumed office on January 23, 2013. Her current term ends on January 4, 2028. She ran for re-election to the Mississippi State Senate to represent District 16 and won in the general election on November 7, 2023.
In terms of her committee assignments, Turner-Ford has been assigned to various committees over the years. In the 2023-2024 legislative session, she was assigned to the following committees: Accountability, Efficiency and Transparency Committee, Senate Appropriations Committee, Congressional Redistricting Committee, Judiciary, Division A Committee, Judiciary, Division B Committee, Reapportionment Committee, Senate Medicaid Committee, Senate Municipalities Committee, Senate Public Property Committee (Chair), Senate Technology Committee, and Veterans and Military Affairs Committee.
