Biography

Alisa Mitskog is an American politician and a member of the Democratic Party. She has been serving in the North Dakota House of Representatives since 2015, representing District 25.

Mitskog is a chiropractor by profession. She received her education from NDSCS, UND, and Logan College of Chiropractic. Apart from her political career and professional practice, she has been actively involved in community service. She has served on the board of the Breckenridge-Wahpeton Community Foundation and the SE Senior Services/Wahpeton, Senior Center Board. She has also been a part of the Red River Human Services Foundation.

Before her tenure in the House of Representatives, Mitskog served as the Past President of the Wahpeton City Council. She is married to Allen and they have three children.

As a representative, Mitskog has been a part of various legislative sessions. In the 68th Legislative Assembly - Regular Session (2023), she represented the Democratic Party for District 25 in Wahpeton. She also participated in the 68th Legislative Assembly - Special Session in October 2023.

Mitskog ran for re-election to the North Dakota House of Representatives to represent District 25 and won in the general election held on November 8, 2022. Her current term ends on December 1, 2026.
