Alina Garcia is a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 115th district. She assumed office on November 3, 2022.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Garcia moved to Florida in 1961. She graduated from Miami Senior High School in 1974 and later attended Miami Dade Community College. She now resides in Miami, Florida.

Garcia has had a long career in the public sector, spanning over thirty years. She began her career as a Legislative Aide in Tallahassee in 1992. Over the years, she has worked for several Republican leaders such as Jimmy Patronis, Esteban Bovo, the mayor of Hialeah, and Joe Carollo, the commissioner of the city of Miami. When U.S. Senator Marco Rubio was chosen to serve in the Florida House of Representatives in 1999, she was his first legislative assistant.

In addition to her political career, Garcia is also a business owner in the real estate sector.

Garcia is a Roman Catholic. She has three children: Alany Hernandez, Alyn Fernandez, and Jorge Cruz. She also has several grandchildren: Jorge Cruz, Alessandra Cruz, Cesar Cruz, Anthony Sune, Keith Hernandez, Amaya Fernandez, Alena Hernandez, Lucas Fernandez, Christian Fernandez, Ashley Higgins, and Joseph John Higgins.
