Biography

Albert P. Sommers III (born May 27, 1959) is an American politician who serves in the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 20 since January 8, 2013. He is a Republican.

All four of his grandparents were early homesteaders in the Green River Valley. Sommers attended high school in Sublette County and graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. After university, he returned home to help run the family ranch.
